Cookies

A consent banner exists to ask permission for things stored on your device. Attempt stores nothing that needs asking about. There are no advertising pixels, no social embeds, no third-party maps, chat or video, and no cross-site tracking of any kind. Every cookie below is set by Attempt itself and is needed to run the thing you asked for. One script is not ours: Vercel Analytics, which counts page views. It sets no cookie, writes nothing to your browser and follows you to no other site, which is why there is still nothing here to consent to.

If that ever changes, this page changes first and consent gets asked for before anything is set.

Attempt uses Stripe's hosted checkout and its hosted billing portal. That means no Stripe script runs on our pages: we load no stripe.js, embed no payment iframe, and Stripe sets no cookie on attemptpl.com. Starting a plan sends your browser to a page on checkout.stripe.com, and managing one sends it to billing.stripe.com.

On those Stripe pages, Stripe sets its own cookies under its own domain, for fraud prevention and to keep the checkout working. They are necessary to take a payment safely, they are governed by Stripe's privacy policy and cookie notice rather than this page, and they are gone from your journey the moment Stripe sends you back to us. We cannot read them, and we receive no advertising or tracking data from Stripe.

Two things are kept in your browser storage rather than in a cookie. Neither is sent to Attempt with your requests.

You can clear all of it from your browser settings at any time. Clearing the session cookie signs you out; clearing the region cookie makes the front page ask where you lift again; clearing the referee seat means taking the seat again with the meet code. Nothing is silently re-set.
